It looks so cosy. I wish I could be a cat taking a nap in a sunbeam on that little table in the corner.
Lori Nix constructs these small dioramas using cardboard, foam, glue and paint which she then photographs using an 8 x 10 inch camera. Each piece takes about 7 months to complete.

Miniature Books
I just got a pile of random paper from our newly opened art store here in St. John’s ( called The Urchin), and so many pieces just siren song to me to be made in to miniature books! So…. I’m going to try and make a few this week… and to encourage myself to make them…
